None of the media houses checked facts but carried out false reports about Kalki being groped. Vexed with the continuous reports, Kalki finally issued a statement through her spokesperson refuting the rumours, before they caused even further damage to her reputation.
Kalki said in her statement, "I have been getting a lot of calls from the press inquiring about the incident. Nothing of the sort happened at the venue. It's ridiculous how this story is being circulated." While Kalki admirers are relieved with the actress' revelation, over enthusiastic media houses can at last take a chill pill and put an end to their image tarnishing rumours.
