The latest update is that actress Shruti Haasan, who played the female lead role in Srimanthudu is planning to adopt a village in Tamil Nadu. It is heard that Kamal Haasan inspired her to take up such an initiative.
Sources say that Shruti Haasan is searching for a proper village to adopt. On the work front, she is busy with couple of Hindi movies and she is waiting for the release of Puli movie.
