Till sometime back, it is publicised that Nandamuri War is on with Jr NTR aiming at 8th Jan release for Nannaku Prematho while Balayya is hellbent on January 14th to release his Dictator. As both films maintained that they are sticking to the dates for now, are Nandamuri fans going witness a major clash at box office for upcoming Sankranthi?
Jr NTR is said to have shared a word with his producer. This is about releasing Nannaku Prematho for Sankranthi. While NTR needs this date quite badly due to the high budgets involved for his film, a competition from Balayya is not encouraging for him. Either he should drop, or Balayya should move a bit back. When a mediator approached him recently, NTR said, "If Baabai is coming on the date without any delay, then I'll go back. Otherwise recovering heavy budgets will be tough. There is no question of war here, it's about producer's safety". He is heard conveying the same to his producer too.
Generally a high potential season like Sankranthi can accommodate two films on same day also. So there is no problem even if both the films release within a week gap, say trade experts. Maybe fans who are confined to only one particular Nandamuri hero might go berserk, but for regular movie-goers they could watch two films in 4-days holiday span.
