It was reported that Chiranjeevi’s 150th film will be the remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Kaththi’. Then it was being said that he has dropped the idea of acting in the remake and Varun Tej’s father Naga Babu has requested V.V. Vinayak to rope in his son for the movie. The reports have been confirmed now.
According to reports, the Megastar has accepted to transfer his role to Varun Tej. The Kanche actor will now be seen reprising the character of Kathiresan, originally played by Vijay. Chiranjeevi dropped the idea of doing the film after Ram Charan’s ‘Bruce Lee’ bombed at the box office. He played a came in the flick. He now wants to be sure that his comeback film performs at the box office.
Reports suggest that the Stanley actor may collaborate with V.V Vinayak, whose latest offering ‘Akhil’ is getting mixed response by the audiences. He is being criticised for his direction in the socio-fantasy film. The duo has earlier worked in ‘Tagore’. Let’s see if they will join hands to deliver another great film or not.
