Actor Vijay Devarakonda, who won accolades for his brief portrayal in Nani’s Yevade Subramanyam, has teamed up with film-maker Tharun Bhaskar for a new movie. Produced jointly by Raj Kandukuri and S Rangineni, the film was launched earlier today at Annapurna Studios in a grand gala ceremony. Producer Suresh Babu Daggubati has sounded the clap board, while Ashok Kumar has switched on the lens. Actor Avasarala Srinivas has directed the first shot.
Speaking at the launch Raj Kandukuri said, "The first schedule will commence till November 16. The second schedule will be completed by December 4 and the final schedule will begin from the last week of December. Suresh Babu garu listened to the script and appreciated us for choosing a refreshing story. His words have doubled our confidence. We are planning to wrap up the film in 42 days. It’s going to be an out-and-out commercial entertainer." Titled Pelli Choopulu, the film has music by Vivek Sagar.
