John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar’s Welcome Back is bringing in the big bucks. After earning Rs 14.35 crore on Friday, the film collected a respectable Rs 17.05 crore on Saturday bringing its total tally to Rs 31.4 crore.
Anees Bazmee's sequel to his 2007 hit Welcome, did well despite mixed reviews. Its Sunday earnings are yet to come in.
Welcome featured Akshay Kumar in the lead role. It was declared as the second highest grosser of 2007 after Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om. With an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Katrina Kaif, Paresh Rawal, Mallika Sherawat and Feroz Khan, Welcome continues to be a hit on the small screen even now.
