Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Akhil’ movie hit the theatre screens yesterday. The film is getting a mixed response from the audiences. The film was slated for a Dussehra release earlier, but was postponed due to VFX related issues as Nagarjuna did not wanted to compromise on any department of the film as it marked the debut of his son.
According to reports, Akhil has received a whopping amount of Rs. 7 crore as remuneration for the V.V. Vinayak directorial. The star son did not demand such high amount, it was producer Nithin who paid such an high amount to Akhil. This is a record amongst debut heroes in Tollywood.
Reportedly, the film’s pre-release business earned the makers Rs 50 crore. The film also marks the debut of Sayesha Saigal, who is also ready to make her debut in Bollywood. The film has failed to provide a perfect start to both the newbies in Tollywood.
