Until now, there has been a strong buzz in Film Nagar circles that Superstar Mahesh Babu's Brahmotsavam has missed its early summer slot and that it may release in May. Some even said that the film may eventually release in August as Mahesh's birthday treat, following Srimanthudu's sentiment.
And now, Brahmotsavam unit's source has said that 80% of the film's shooting has been completed already and that most of the talkie part will be wrapped up with the ongoing schedule in Varanasi, except for a song and patch work. The source further said that the film will release on the 29th April.
Now, if Brahmotsavam manages to make it to the said date, it will surely irk Allu Arjun's Sarrainodu, which is scheduled to release on the 28th April. Already, Sarrainodu, which was supposed to release on the 15th April, postponed its release by 3 weeks due to Sardaar Gabbar Singh's release on April 8.
Going by the present scenario, there is no chance that Brahmotsavam and Sarainodu will clash at the box-office. But whether Brahmotsavam will really finish its shoot on time and pose a threat to Bunny's Sarrainodu? Who will step back first, Bunny or Mahesh? are the doubts arising with this clash.
